KAMIKAZE RX8. Scarcely ever can only two words describe the subject so well as in this case. Therefore, with its mere name this new project attracts attention in the tuning field and thanks to its manufactoring reveals new dimensions to the fans of speedy wheels. The path to the kind of driving experience that only the drivers of formula 1 or rally know of has never been so simple. Or legal – the project KAMIKAZE RX8 fulfils Czech homologation requirements, its road use protected by a register mark is a must!

The basic building stone of the whole project KAMIKAZE RX8 is a Mazda RX-8, a four-door Japanese box powered by a rotary Wankel 1.3 liter engine spinning the incredible 9500 revs per minute. Mazda has been using the Wankel engine since 1971. The drive unit gained the biggest fame during the implementation in the three genereations of the model RX-7. In this case the icon Mazda placed emphasis on the top sports performance without any compromises. However, the innovation in the form of the RX-8 version has been influenced by a range of requests from the marketing department, so the fans didn't wait to see the real successor. The alternation has come at present!

One hundred percent joy is the principle of the DNA of the KAMIKAZE RX8. The same sophisticated technological procedures used for the motor itself were used for its construction. The adjustments include an entirely new bodykit of composite and carbon fibre, an empowered engine and brakes, a sports chassis including backing and a custom made compartment. Moreover, it takes pride in maker's emblems such as GReddy, Unorthodox Racing or Défi, today being the absolute top of the professional tuning. The certificates by which these component parts are characterized allow the homologation of car for operating on the Czech parkways. It is also possible to choose the version for circuit racing or drift – KAMIKAZE RX8 GT. The final design of the KAMIKAZE RX8 including colour and plate of the carriage body is entirely up to you!

The period of an execution of the project KAMIKAZE RX8 will take 14 to 16 weeks from the contract signature, either a brand new car or a previously owned RX8 can be used. By request we will provide both the purchase of the innovation model and the import and registration of the used car in perfect and audited condition. You can also choose the method of payment. In what way is she different? Every reader of our webpage knows that RX-8 doesn't use a movement of cylinders up and down, but a rotatory one. This system was invented by Mr. Felix Wankel during his tenure for the company NSU. This factory then sold the patent on the rotary engine all over the world whereas Rolls-Royce for instance developed a two-rotor diesel in the 60s! However, all the car factories desisted from the further development of the system despite the fact that in general it has a much higher efficiency. Only Mazda sensed a chance and is now the only contemporary producer that uses the Wankel system for its production cars. In fact, not only the production ones, in 1991 the company won the 24 hour race in Le Mans with its model 787B. Thus, in this case, it knows what it does and does it well. How else would one get 230 hp out of a 1.3 liter engine?

The difference of Mazda RX-8 does not end with the engine. What about the features on the borderland of a box and a sedan? On each side it disposes of two typical box doors, which are hatchback, designed to open against the travel direction. Through these we get to the back seats that provide place for two persons comparable with the BMW 3 box, for instance. Thus, it is a car for everyday use.

The whole interior is then dominated by a wide central tunnel, which hides a carbon automotive shaft for transmission of all power to the back driven axle. The rest of the interior is in sports-luxurious style, even though it is of course a “Japanese” car and thus you cannot expect a quality of an Audi in a care for 1 million Czech crowns. However, the leather is in the base. It is only for the good that it is not an Audi – RX-8 has a soul… How else could one describe a Japanese (almost) box with an engine in the middle of an actuating back wheel which gets you 230 hp in 8200 turns out of only a 1.3 liter engine? That´s Mazda RX-8.

The extended body includes the original front and rear bumper and side sills. The front opening hood and the rear hood include the cap of a fuel tank. They are made of carbon fiber as well as the rest of the body. By the weight shortage a lower center of gravity was accomplished, thus the driving properties have significantly improved. The power exceeds the limit of 300 hp, and is a booming and sharp grumble that flicks flames. The adjustments include a turbo kit and a rustless exhaust tract GReddy, a programming control unit, a discharge of the engine components – a belt pulley, a flywheel and a kevlar racing coupling Unorthodox Racing. It is also upgraded by a larger crankcase pit and an aluminum ice bank cooler. Very high quality alarms by Defi were used for the control of the right functionality of the adjusted engine. These are for the pressure of the turbo stirrer and oil, the temperature of the oil and exhaust gas – you can also find these in monipostos of formula 1. The driving power of KAMIKAZE RX8 is therefore within the royal motorcar branch. Brakes

The front axle is bedded with 6piston brakes Grex with cooled discs 330 mm in average, the back axle is bedded with cooled disc brakes Turbo Groove with yellow brake-pad plates EBC. The brakes are especially characteristic for their circuit usage, an extreme resistance and a minimum dessication is guaranteed. Chassis

Chassis

A fully adjustable chassis GReddy – Type S enforced with torsional stabilizers and a strut on the front and back axle. It is possible to set the height, rigidity and even a deflection. There are 18- or 19-inch wheels DOTZ available. These are designated for this car and are authorized for operating. These light wheels therefore bring down the unsprung weight of KAMIKAZE RX8 and that makes the driving properties better. Then, according to the chosen cast alloy wheels the car is embedded with low profile tires by Pirelli brand. The prices are available in e-shop for KAMIKAZE RX8.

Interior

Interior

The custom-made interior is from the factory of Milan Roudnicky. Various types and colors of natural leather can be used for the upholstery, a combination with fine ground Alcantra with stitching in a contrast color is available upon request. According to the client's requirements it is possible to pad even the plastic stamping of the interior, the lining can be varnished in the same color as the body. The price is available upon request according to the chosen adjustments.

Let's start at the very beginning. In April 1977 a Trust company LTD was founded in Japan by Mr. Masamitsu Hayakawou. An essential word here is trust and on this basis the company developed its activity in the field of production and component development for cars. The founder, a car racer, surrounded himself with people who he believed would be the experience gained at race courses and at the same time, according to the Japanese customs, would be doing their job 150%. He hoped that their activity for the Trust company would be their hobby rather than their job. Of course, the company need a label to expand on the new market of the tuning adjustments. Apart from the division GREX (the producer of the components of drive units and Gracer (still sticking to more or less the original legacy of the producer of components for motor sport) thus was currently most famous division GReddy presented.

Since its origin, GReddy has been concerned mainly with exhaust emission systems, turbo kits, cooling systems, electronic and other accessories. It is clear then that the emphasis was and is placed especially on the products, which really do improve, specifically, the power of the car. The legacy of Mr. Hayakawa is still in charge of the company policy. Not even the above-mentioned “trust” has vanished away in this fast developing branch. For the fulfillment of this credo, the company GReddy has several ways by which to gain your confidence. Not only did it not turn to production in countries with low expenditures on workforce and other fundamental products (turbo kits, coolers, exhaust silencers, catalysts) which are still being made in Japan and then distributed all around the world, but also it takes pride in its sophisticated system of clients' support and incidental complaints solving. The clients' support department is partly located in Japan, then in the USA and both branches employ specialists with multi year experience and it would not be acceptable for your career at GReddy to start right there for it is necessary to get to know in detail all the products and procedures exercised in production and communication with customers.

After a malfunction that originated during the design or production process has been diagnosed at an individual product, a new product is sent to the customer immediately.
